TAKE A TRIP BACK IN TIME
TAKE A TRIP BACK IN TIME
Preserving Our Past
& Elevating Our Future
The Elevator Museum was built to preserve the history and artifacts of this great trade.
We'll take you back in time to show the origins and importance the elevator trade had within our country.
We have assembled one of the largest collections of antique elevator artifacts in the world today.
Preserving our past and Elevating our Future
The history of the elevator industry is not well known by most people. Elevators played a significate role during the early development of this country. The first freight elevators moved material up and down in the factories that powered the industrial revolution.
The Museum will show you how early steam engines turned drums to raise and lower elevators. Relive the life of an Elevator Attendant.
Have you ever wondered what's hidden in the walls of the old elevator shafts ? Come and see some things you have never seen before.
The Museum is dog friendly and so is the Brewery on the first floor. We are a Non-Profit 501C3 Organization and rely on donations.
