The Elevator Membership Program is the support group dedicated to the preservation of the history and education of the elevator industry. The Elevator artifacts, literature and related items need to be preserved before they are all gone. Some of the earliest elevator machines and early American made equipment is being disposed of everyday. We need to preserve some of these for the next generation. Many antique elevator parts have never been seen by the public.
All funds from the memberships go directly to the support of this Elevator Museum. This museum has been in the developmental stages for many years and built by volunteers and personal collections. The museum is operated by volunteers and 100% of the funds collected go to the lease and associated museum expenses. We need and rely on these memberships, donations and grants to allow this museum to last for many years to come. We hope you will visit us and see what a collection it is and support us by joining.
